The government is considering a Rs 2,000 crore National Exporters Insurance Fund for covering risks of exporters.

8220;The Finance Ministry has given in-principle approval for the National Exporters Insurance Account and the proposal will soon be put before the cabinet for approval,8221; Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of india ECGC Chairman and Managing Director P.K. Dash told reporters here.

He said the scheme would be managed by ECGC on behalf of the government.
