RP Singh-Kwatra win

CHANDIGARH, Jan 27: The pair of RP Singh and Narinder Kwatra were crowned champions in the Double Wicket cricket championship after edging past the pair of Vivek Jain and Jasneet by a solitary run, here at the Sector 16 Cricket Stadium on Monday.

Jasneet and Vivek Jain totalled 36 runs in four overs but due to two dismissals, 10 runs were deducted from their total, reducing it to 26. R P Singh and Narinder Kwatra then tallied 27 runs, without being dismissed even once to clinch the title.

Modi xerox Club beat Shine Star Club by seven wickets to move into the semifinal of the first Modi Xerox Cash Prize cricket tournament.
