PATNA, OCT 27: The Rashtriya Janata Dal RJD on Wednesday hinted at breaking ties with the Congress in the Bihar Assembly polls due in March next year.

8220;I don8217;t think my party will be able to continue its alliance with the Congress during the Assembly poll due in March,8221; RJD national spokesman Shivanand Tiwari told reporters.

8220;The Congress is a bigger party and will bargain for the lion8217;s share of seats if we talk of forging an alliance with the former8230; It will be difficult for the ruling party to spare a majority of seats for the Congress,8221; he said.

He said his party firmed up an alliance with the Congress during the recent Lok Sabha polls for consolidating secular votes.
