
NAHAN, Oct 4: Jagmohan Ramaul a freedom fighter, in a letter to the principal of the Shamsher Senior Secondary School for Boys, has asked him to get repaired the electric wiring of the school building immediately.
The copies of the letter have been sent to state Education Minister I.D. Dhiman, Deputy Commissioner Sirmaur, Deputy Director Education south zone, District Education officer Sirmaur and local press.
In his letter, Ramaul said it was shameful that the authorities were collecting building fund every month but no repair work was being undertaken putting lives of hundreds of students in danger.
He said that on visiting the school he saw naked electric wires hanging in some class rooms. Ramaul stated said that the rooms were dirty and stinking due to dampness and some of them were not even fit for use.
Ramaul urged Dhiman to take immediate action to prevent any mishap and said that the building fund must be utilised for the maintenance of school building.
