MUMBAI, Feb 1: Fine bowling performances by medium pacers Atul Ranade and Swapnil Hazare, helped Elf Lubricants to restrict Central Railway to 164 in the semi-finals of the K C Mahindra Memorial Invitational cricket tournament, sponsored by M Seal, at the Parsee Gymkhana, today. At draw of stumps, Elf Lubricants were 77-3.

Central Railway were well-served by Sujit Gadkari (50) and left-hander Sudhakar Chavan (47) who helped them to reach 150. Ranade took 4-36, while Hazare finished with 3-30.

In the other semi-final, a century by Amit Velaskar (112) and half centuries by Mobin Shaikh (51) and left-hander Kunal More (57), enabled Sun-Grace (Mafatlal) to score 292 against hosts Mahindra and Mahindra at the Mahalaxmi ground.

Veteran medium-pacer Pradeep Kasliwal was the pick of the bowlers with 5-60. At the close, Mahindras were nine for no loss.
