Holders Railways and Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB) have been top seeded in the men’s and women’s team sections, respectively in the 64th senior national and inter-state table tennis championship to be held in Pune from January 9 to 15. Twenty-nine men and 27 women teams will be seen in action in the inter-state competition to be held from January 9 to 11 followed by the open events from January 12 to 15. The open competition which will have five events - men and women singles and doubles and mixed doubles - carries Rs. 3.38 lakhs as prize money.
