Railways have called up two untested young openers to their squad to arrest the batting slide of the team ahead of a crucial Ranji tie against Maharashtra beginning on December 12.
Prosenjit Kumar Das and Selvaraj have been inducted into the traveling party at the expense of Milind Tamhane and Raja Ali, who is yet to recover from his injury. Also coming into the 15-member squad is medium pacer Sabir Ali, who replaces Santosh Saxena.
Selvaraj played for Karnataka8217;s under-22 while Prosenjit represented Bengal before both switched to Railways.
