
NEW DELHI, June 19: A return journey reservation complex was inaugurated today by S.P. Mehta, General Manager, Northern Railway near the New Delhi Railway Station. The complex will have eight counters; four of which would be for Mumbai, three for Chennai and one for Delhi.
In addition to this, six counters have been earmarked for reservation for the air-conditioned classes and the first class. A self-dialing enquiry system will also be shortly introduced.
According to Railway officials, in Delhi alone at present at least 60,000 seats and berths are reserved in 150 trains every day.
