HOSHIARPUR: An unidentified woman, in her late twenties, allegedly committed suicide by jumping from a running train near Munak Kalan village on Jalandhar-Pathankot section last evening, police said today.PHAGWARA: One of the two youths, fleeing after snatching a bag containing Rs 6,000 from a factory owner at Nimmawala chowk here last night, was caught after a chase by the people and handed over to the police. Police identified the youth as Ganga from Bihar and recovered one country made pistol from him. His accomplice, who managed to run away, was identified as Manoj.KAITHAL: The district police on Tuesday arrested three residents of Kithana village - Krisha Kumar, Rajesh and Sumer - for abducting and torturing two persons, Randeep Singh and Phool Singh, of Sandal Kheri village.
