FWWB business planning meet
The Friends of Women8217;s World Banking India FWWB will conduct a conference on strategic business planning from May 18 8211; 23 at Malan Vruksh Mandir. Since 1989, FWWB8217;s credit and training support has reached more than 50,000 women, with cumulative outstanding of US 1.6 million and mobilisation of funds from NABARD, IDBI, SIDBI, IFCI, and PATH USA. FWWB has also provided training support to more than 200 NGOs.

Meet on women8217;s studies
The Eighth national conference of women8217;s studies organised by the Indian Association of Women8217;s Studies will be held from May 30 to June 2 at the SNDT campus here. Survival and Sovereignty- Challenges to women8217;s studies will be the main theme of the conference and is aimed at discussing the women8217;s present day problems arising out of the new economic policies and globalisation.

Four plenary sessions to discuss the food security, ecology and economy, households would be held. Interested participants may contact the Adult and Continuing Education Department, SNDT Women8217;s university at phone numbers 347336 or 231922 for further details.
