2 children killed in road mishaps
Two children were killed on the spot in two separate road mishaps, one reported from Hadapsar and the other from Dehu Road.

Krishna Balasaheb Awate, a 15-year-old boy residing at Hadapsar was killed on the spot when a truck heading toward Pune ran over him near his house on Tuesday evening.

Wanowrie police have launched a hunt for the truck driver who sped away. Earlier on Monday, six-year-old Ashvini Shirke was fatally knocked down by a truck at Chikhali village near Dehu Road. The truck driver, Raju A Karawade 35 of Chinchwad, has been arrested by the Dehu Road police.
