The dealer, Mushtaq Khan Ayub Khan 35, was arrested by the crime branch sleuths yesterday. He was produced before a judicial magistrate First Class and remanded to police custody till November 30.

The identification parade of the six arrested members of the Goga gang was carried out at Yerawada Central Prison today. These six gangsters 8211; Atik-Ur-Rehman Ansari 30 from Katalibari village in Darbhanga district of Bihar, Javed Ahmed Alam Narul Hasan 25 from Rampur in Mujaffarpur district of Bihar, Zia-Ur-Rehman Mohammed Moinul Haq alias Dulare 40 from Darbhanga, Mohammed Shamshad Alam Mohammed Karimulla 25 from Mujaffarpur, Shivkumar Baldeo Mandal 25 of Shivdaha village in Mujaffarpur district in Bihar and Manjoor Alam Jaki-Ur-Rehman 25 of Aurai village in Darbhanga district 8211; were arrested by Bihar police in the last month.

They have been remanded to magisterial custody. Atik-Ur-Rehman Ansari is Darbhanga correspondent of a Patna-based newspaper while Zia-Ur-Rehman who works as a tailor is the secretary of the Moharram committee in Darbhanga. DCP Pawar said the entire plot to abduct and kill Sagar Ladkat was masterminded by Anis Ahmed who is absconding along with three other accused.

According to the police, the Goga members came to Pune sometime in April.
