PU teachers boycott evaluation

CHANDIGARH, May 13: Evaluation of examination papers was boycotted by university and college teachers at the Panjab university here today. The boycott of evaluation follows a call by various teachers organisations to protest the non release of pay scales recommended by the UGC.

The secretary of the Panjab University Teachers Association , Rana Nayar has in a press statement claimed that the boycott was complete and no examiner participated in the evaluation process at PU. Nayar added that a state-level convention of university and college teachers will be organised at PU on May 22.
