A decision on sanctioning the Sir Vivian Richards ground after the farcical second Test was against England will be taken by the ICC after review by its chief match referee Ranjan Madugalle and general manager David Richardson. ICC chief executive Haroon Lorgat suggested that the ultimate penalty could be taking away Test status from the venue.

Dubai: Yuvraj Singh jumped four places to number three while Gautam Gambhir climbed eight spots to the 12th position in the latest ICC ODI rankings,after their consistent show in Sri Lanka.Virender Sehwag also returned to the top 20,gaining six places to take the 15th spot. Pak players seek compensation for IPL ban
Karachi: Pakistan cricketers are hoping for compensation from their board for being barred from the IPL,according to a report in The News. It said the affected players had sent a letter to Pakistan president Asif Ali Zardari,patron of the PCB,saying the ban was an unnecessary initiative.
Delhi take on Jamp;K in Ranji one-dayer
