Pakistan cricket fans and former players believe only winning will allow the team to overcome a match fixing scandal that has resulted in several players being suspended.
Zaheer Abbas – known as the Asian Bradman – believes one win could boost the morale of the team which lost back-to-back,Twenty20 internationals against England this week.
Abbas also says captain Shahid Afridi should have shown some responsibility, instead of throwing away his wicket as England bowled out Pakistan for its lowest ever T20 total of 89 on Tuesday.
Butt,Asif and Amir were provisionally suspended by the International Cricket Council after a British tabloid accused the trio of being paid for bowling deliberate no-balls in a test match against England.
