Ravindra Jadeja-Suresh Raina spat to be probed by team manager MV Sridhar

BCCI secretary confirmed to The Indian Express that the BCCI called team manager after the incident.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India BCCI has asked MV Sridhar, the manager of the Indian team playing the tri-series in the West Indies,to submit a report on the on-field spat between Ravindra Jadeja and Suresh Raina during the game against the hosts in Port of Spain on Friday. Express Exclusive: You lost captaincy, now fielding interest too,Jadeja to Raina

BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel confirmed to The Indian Express that the Indian board called Sridhar after the incident and asked him to inquire into the spat and submit a report.

I have spoken to the manager of the Indian team and have asked him to submit his report on the issue. The BCCI will study the report to get a clearer picture of what happened. We dont want to disturb the team as the series is on,so only after the managers report is submitted will we take a call on whether any action has to be taken,if at all, Patel said.

On Friday,Indias 120-run win over the West Indies was marred by a heated exchange between Jadeja and Raina after the fall of West Indies ninth wicket, that of Sunil Narine. Narine had been involved in a 58-run stand with Kemar Roach and both batsmen had been dropped earlier by Raina off Jadejas bowling.

Patel said BCCI hasnt reprimanded Jadeja or Raina yet. Patel spoke to Jadeja and Raina on Saturday morning via a conference call and both the players assured him that the issue was sorted out.
