Leander Paes and his partner Radek Stepanek lost in the mens doubles final to Mike and Bob Bryan of the United States 6-3 6-4. Fifth seeds Paes and Stepanek accounted for a staggering number of unforced errors 22 against only six by the twins. The Americans did not face a single break point during the match which won them their 12th Grand Slam title.
Paes-Stepanek entered the final following the injury-forced exit of Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez from the semis. Paes and Stepanek were tied 5-5 in the first set when their sixth-seeded rivals retired due to injury.
