There’s one player who is looking forward to the third edition of the Indian Premier League more than others. Eager to prove the critics wrong and leave aside the disappointment of being dropped from the Rajasthan Royals squad last season,Mohammad Kaif is itching to get going for the Kings XI Punjab outfit.
My performance in domestic cricket was quite good and I got my first double hundred as captain of the Central Zone team. I am in good form and the practice session also went well for me. Hopefully,I will be able to come up with some good knocks during the IPL, said Kaif, who has played 13 Tests and 125 ODIs for India.
The Punjab team play against Rajasthan Royals on March 24,and Kaif will be the man coach Tom Moody turns to provide some inside information about the Rajasthan team. I am quite open to that idea. If the team wants some information on them then I would be more than happy to oblige, he said.
