Injured Bhutia released from AIFF camp

The All India Football Federation has released national captain Bhaichung Bhutia from the ongoing national football camp here in preparation for the 2011 Asian Cup,after an MRI scan revealed a calf muscle stretch.

Bhutia,who is given one week8217;s time for rest to recover from his injury,is expected to see a specialist in Mumbai before heading for Kolkata for rehabilitation.

Dempo duo of Mahesh Gawli and Samir Naik,who are recovering from injuries,are the other players who have not joined the camp.
