Emerging Players leave for Australia

The Indian Emerging Players squad,led by S Badrinath,will leave on Friday for Australia to take part in a Twenty20 as well as a 50-over contest.

The Indian Emerging Players squad,led by S Badrinath,will leave on Friday for Australia to take part in a Twenty20 as well as a 50-over contest.

The Indians will start their campaign with a Twenty20 game against the Australian Institute of Sports at the Peter Burge Oval in Brisbane on July 20. They will then take on New Zealand and South Africa,along with hosts Australia,in a four-team Twenty20 competition,as well as feature in a 50-over contest also involving the same teams. The final of the 50-over tournament will be held on August 1.
