Blast near British embassy in Bahrain: Ministry

A small explosion took place in a bus parked near the British embassy in Bahrain’s capital Manama today,the unrest-hit Gulf kingdom’s interior ministry said.

“A blast from the front part of a bus parked near the British embassy in Ras Rumman” occurred early on Sunday,the ministry tweeted,without saying whether there were casualties.

An embassy spokesman confirmed there had been an explosion but could not yet say if the embassy had been targeted.
