Police say a suicide bomber has blown himself up close to a police station in the northwestern Pakistan city of Peshawar.

Police say a suicide bomber has blown himself up close to a police station in the northwestern Pakistan city of Peshawar.

TV stations reported the bomber was the only fatality in Wednesday8217;s blast and three people were wounded.

Islamist militants have carried out scores of attacks in Pakistan in recent months.
