With a long and tough season looming large for the Indian cricketers, trainer Gregory King said that the main aim of the pace bowlers camp was to minimise the frequency of injuries.

‘‘We are not looking at the Lanka tour alone, but aiming to condition the guys for the season ahead and prepare them. Obviously, we will get injuries time to time. Mine as well as Gloster’s duty is to minimise injuries from recurring. There is no way we can banish them.’’

‘‘Most of the injuries are suffered by the fast bowlers so this camp is to address their needs. Spinners too will get in at a later stage,’’ King said here on Monday.
