37° Celsius in Mumbai: Second warmest October day since 2019

(Express Archives/ representational) Mumbai on Friday recorded the second warmest October day since 2019 as the India Meteorological Department (IMD)’s Santacruze observatory recorded a maximum temperature of 37 degrees Celsius, which was 3.3 degrees Celsius above normal.

On October 22, 2019, the Santacruze observatory recorded a day temperature of 37.4 degrees Celsius, which is the highest in the last seven years. IMD data shows the all-time highest day temperature recorded at Santacruze was on October 17, 2015, at 38.6 degrees Celsius.
