CHANDIGARH, AUG 17: An inter-school poster exhibition organised by the DAV Secondary School, Sector 8, concluded here today. The exhibition, which was organised in memory of the soldiers who laid down their lives at the Kargil front, was spread over three days.
Rakesh Sachdeva, principal of the DAV Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 15, presided over the function. She congratulated Ravinder Talwar, principal of the host school and other staff members, for their efforts in putting up the exhibition.
Later, she gave away cash prizes to the winners, the first prize being worth Rs 1,100, the second Rs 750 and the third Rs 500. Five consolation prizes of Rs 100 each were also given.
