SAS NAGAR, Aug 4: The Punjab School Education Board today announced the schedule for submission of admissions forms and fee for its annual 1999 matriculation and class XII examinations to be conducted in March next year.

Jagjit Singh Sidhu, secretary of the board has stated in a release issued here that the matriculation and plus two science, commerce, agriculture and technical, additional papers and improvement exams would commence from March 2 and that of plus two humanities, vocational and compartment cases would begin from March 16.

For private candidates appearing in the matriculation examination, the last date of submission of admission forms is September 30 with a fee of Rs 250 plus Rs 20 per practical. They can however submit the forms with a late fee of Rs 100 till October 15, Rs 300 up to October 31, and a late fee of Rs 1,000 will be charged from those who submit their forms by November 15. The schedule for compartment candidates is the same except that the admission forms and fee would be received with a late fee of Rs 500 only up to November 15 and not after that.

The last date of submitting forms for school candidates appearing in the matriculation examination is October 15 with a fee of Rs 200 plus Rs 20 per practical. However, forms will also be accepted with a late fee of Rs 100 up to October 31.

The private candidates of all groups appearing for plus two exams can submit their admission forms with a fee of Rs 260 plus Rs 20 per practical by September 30 and thereafter the schedule for submission of admissions forms and fee would be the same as that of matric private candidates as stated above.

Regular candidates appearing for plus two of all groups can submit their admission forms with a fee of Rs 210 plus Rs 20 per practical by October 15 and thereafter a late fee of Rs 100 would be charged for acceptance of admission forms by October 31. The matriculation exam candidates desirous of appearing in one additional paper would be required to pay Rs 100 but the fee for more than one additional paper would be charged at Rs 250 plus Rs 20 per practical but for plus two it would be Rs 260 plus Rs 20 per practical.

A registration fee of Rs 30 would be charged for appearing in plus two exam from those candidates who passed matriculation from this board two or more years back but this fee would be Rs 100 from students of other boards/universities.

The private candidates outside Punjab appearing in 10th and 12th class exams of the board would be required to pay Rs 100 as additional fee. However, the candidates of other states would have to pay Rs 40 as eligibility fee for appearing in plus two exam of this board, the secretary added.
