CHANDIGARH, Feb 23: With the faculty reporting on duty, it was business as usual at the PGI. However, the faculty members continued to wear black badges as a mark of protest against the non-implementation of modified Baxi Committee recommendations.

According to a spokesman of the Faculty Association, news was awaited from New Delhi regarding further development in the matter. The faculty is sore that no offer of negotiations, as was made to the AIIMS faculty, has been made to the PGI faculty.
