Charles D Cruz beat Ajay Sehgal 42-43, 50-30, 63-16, 54-44, in a match which lasted over an hour.

In the amateur category, Saurabh Malhotra beat Amit Grover 56-32, 101-28 while Ajay Singla defeated Vishal Gupta 45-42, 39-49, 52-16. Madhur outplayed Sumit Behl 65-16, 48-36 and Anurag prevailed over AMit 49-36, 48-17.

In another match Anandit Joshi beat Pravav Jain 46-32, 55-46. Naman nagpal and varun entered the last eight stage of the kids pool event.

Anil excels
Anil Sharma scored 59-33, 50-31 victory over BK Arora in the handicap snooker event in the YMCA Open Billiards and Snooker tournament which is being played at the YMCA Hall in Sector 11, in Chandigarh.

Anil who had a fine run in the meet so far did not sweat to outclass his opponent BK Arora. BK Arora, however, came up with a fine performance in the open billiards event against CD Cruz whom he defeated 240-220, to enter the next round matches.
