CHANDIGARH, Aug 5: The Panchkula District Inter-School Badminton Team Championship will be held at Community Centre, Sector 7 Panchkula from August 12 to 14. The competitions will be held for primary schools, boys and girls under-14 up to class VIII and boys and girls under-19 IX class and above.
Entry may be sent to Ravinder Kapoor, badminton coach, Community Centre, Sector 7, Panchkula, on August 10, according to TR Tuli, general secretary, District Badminton Association, Panchkula.
The team will consist of maximum number of four players 8212; two singles and one doubles and the matches will be decided on basis of best of three of a team.
All primary and high higher secondary schools are eligible to take part in the competitions being organised as part of Independence Day celebrations.
