Hot on the heels of the Taj Salon-Loreal Professional show comesSalon International 8217;99 SI8217;99. A three-day event that kicks off on Sunday, February 21, it is being held at the World Trade Centre. SI8217;99 incorporates demonstrations of everything you can do with your hair, from styling and colouring to cutting. Accompanied by a fashion show, SI8217;99 will also have contests in every category Hair Dresser of the Year, Beautiful Bride, Wild and Wacky Hair Show and Look of the year, for salons only. The highlight of the affair will be F.A.M.E, the internationally renowned hair-dressing team from the UK, who will demonstrate at the event.

Vatsa Television Network announce the launch of their new music channel today. This one promises to give you 24-hour non-stop Hindi music. On the cards, hopefully, will be an equitable mix of old-new, listenable-not so music. The concept, however, is a new and great one.

Openyour hearts to Tiffany, who now have a section at Beautiful Boulevard, the la-di-dah store in equally la-di-dah and uptown Nepean Sea Road. The section they have opened there holds gifts, baby goods, jewellery, accessories, and crystal. Affordable is the operative word here, as they have stated. Specially for their Valentine8217;s Day collection. A bit late, but worth checking out anyway.
Talk of the town
Finally, for the much-hyped UB40 show that will be held at the Andheri Sports Complex. Only three days left for you to acquire the passes from anywhere 8212; enter a contest, buy yourself a drink, whatsoever, but you must be there.
