Government on Wednesday decided to unleash an advertisement campaign to propagate permission given by market regulator SEBI allowing issuance of participatory notes by merchant bankers for ONGC’s public issue for attracting large foreign funds that are not registered in India. ‘‘We would like the investors abroad to know about the instrument. ONGC issue is important for us,’’ an official of the Disinvestment Ministry said. —(PTI)
