Sports Authority of India scored a 10-0 victory over Tata Electric in the First Division league match conducted by the Bombay Hockey Association at the Mahindra Stadium here today.

Mohd Zuber scored four goals in the rout, Tabrez Sherkhan 3, and Syed Irshad Ali, Rahul Bhatkar and Gurmit Rao scored the other goals.

Ave Maria victors

Ave Maria scored a 1-0 win over Reserve bank in the first division Rizvi League match conducted by the Hockey Association of Mumbai at the St. Andrew’s ground, Bandra today. Ryan Alphonso scored the match-winning goal in the 17th minute.

Top seeds move up

Chembur Gym Tennis

The Chembur Gymkhana will be hosting the Maharashtra Open State Junior Ranking Tennis for boys’ and girls’ between the age groups of 12 to 16 at their courts.

IIT open swim gala

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) will be conducting their annaul Open State-level Swimming Gala on Feburary 14-15. Events will be held for boys’ and girls’ under-9, 11, 13, 15 and open events for men and women.Separate events for college and varsity students from all over the state has also been planned.
