Apart from the module of 14 persons, which was reportedly headed by Atif Ameen, Delhi Police officials suspect that there is one more module of Indian Mujahideen youths operating from the outskirts of Delhi or Uttar Pradesh.
Drawing this conclusion after analysing phone records and interrogating five arrested suspects, officials feel this module could be providing hideouts for Atif8217;s module members who are on the run.
Meanwhile, police said they had recovered clips of Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Delhi blast sites from the mobile phones and laptop recovered after the encounter at L-18 Batla House in Jamia Nagar. However, the five arrested IM members 8212; Zia-ur-Rehman, Saqib Nisar, Mohammad Saif, Zeeshan and Shakil8212;have not admitted to their involvement in the Hyderabad blasts.
The police also checked their bank accounts, but not much money was found. Officials said while Atif8217;s module had been cracked after the Delhi encounter, the Mumbai Police had busted another module with the five arrests. But the police suspect there is one more module at large.
The Delhi Police are now looking for one Shah Rukh, who hails from Karnataka and reportedly provided explosives for all the serial blasts. He is said to have accompanied Atif to Ahmedabad before the July 26 blasts there.
Meanwhile, a team from Kolkata arrived in Delhi to interrogate the five suspected IM men here in connection with the American Center attack. A Delhi Police team has also gone to Mumbai to interrogate the five suspects detained in Mumbai.
