SYDNEY, FEB 17: Hundreds of protesters have vowed to lie in front of bulldozers to prevent construction of the Olympic beach volleyball stadium at Australia8217;s best known beach, Bondi.
Lenny Kovner, spokesman for the Bondi Olympic Watch, said 860 recruits were signed up to help prevent construction of the 10,000-seat stadium. A hundred protesters, under the umbrella of the Olympic Impact Coalition OIC, rallied against what they say are the adverse impacts of the games.
