The biggest summit of Islamic leaders in three years opened today with calls for the world8217;s 1.3 billion Muslims to unite against 8216;8216;a few million Jews8217;8217; who allegedly rule the world by controlling the world8217;s major powers.
Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohamad said Muslims for years believed mistakenly that Islam rejected new technology and progress.
Mahathir, chairman of the two-day summit, launched a blistering attack on what he described as Jewish domination of the world and Muslim nations8217; inability to adequately respond to it. 8216;8216;The Europeans killed 6 million Jews out of 12 million, but today the Jews rule the world by proxy,8217;8217; Mahathir said. 8216;8216;They get others to fight and die for them.8217;8217;

They survived 2,000 years of pogroms not by hitting back but by thinking,8217;8217; Mahathir said. 8216;8216;They invented socialism, communism, human rights and democracy so that persecuting them would appear to be wrong, so that they can enjoy equal rights with others.8217;8217;
