Nurses hold protest rallies

PATIALA, May 11: Nurses working in the government hospitals here today held a protest rally in Rajindra Hospital to express solidarity with the striking nurses of Delhi and to press the Punjab government to accept the demand put forth by the Punjab Nurses Association PNA.

PNA president and secretary, in a joint statement here said that nurses in all districts of the state today held rallies on a call given by the PNA.

AMRITSAR: The staff nurses working in government hospitals here held a massive rally in front of Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital in protest against Punjab government move to send nurses to Delhi on deputation and to show solidarity with their Delhi counterparts.
