Now, dhoti controversy dogs Jogi

After the cake creating a fuss in Madhya Pradesh politics, it’s the dhoti’s in neighbouring Chhattisgarh.

Minister of State for Forests and Environment Dilip Singh Judeo has alleged that CM Ajit Jogi did not wear a dhoti, as is the norm, while entering the Maa Danteshwari Devi Temple in Bastar.

Jogi, alleged Judeo, was wearing churidar pyjama, not dhoti, when he went to the temple with Congress chief Sonia Gandhi on May 20. Judeo said Jogi should apologise for the ‘‘sin’’ or be ready for the deity’s curse.
