Bhindi ladyfinger the most common of the summer vegetables is priced at Rs 14 in the wholesale market as against Rs 20 as its retail price.
Bitter gourd too is in the same category of inflated price, being available for Rs 15 in the wholesale market and Rs 20 in the retail market.
The essentials8217; 8211; onion, potatoes and tomatoes, however, are much lower on the price ladder.
Onions are available for Rs 6 as against wholesale price of Rs 3.50 while tomatoes are priced at Rs 10 per kg as against wholesale price of Rs 7.
Lemon continues to retain its position as the hottest8217; item being available for Rs 20 in the wholesale market and Rs 40 as its retail price.
