
MUMBAI, May 20: India’s first magazine on photography, Better Photography, was launched by India’s largest commercial printing company, Tata Donnelley Ltd., on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, managing director H S Billimoria said the monthly publication would benefit both professional and amateur photographers, and would also provide an attractive advertising medium for manufacturers of photography equipment.
The magazine, priced at Rs 50, will also give a fillip to ameteur photography, he stated.
Some of the best names in photograhy industry will be carried in Better Photography along with foreign and Indian photo features. It will also feature techniques to improve the art of photography and explain photography-related terminology, Billimoria explained.
The magazine will also feature the latest national and international happenings in the industry, and provide details on cameras, lenses and films available in the local and world markets along their prices, he said.
