‘Netaji is dead, but not in plane crash’

The Mukherjee Commission of inquiry has found that Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose is dead but he did not die in the plane crash in Taiwan. Stating this in reply to a question in Lok Sabha, Minister of State for Home S K Kharaventhan said the one-man panel had also found that the ashes in Japan’s Renkoji Temple are not of Netaji. The Commission has submitted its report to the government, he said.
