Muslim organisation brands terrorism as un-Islamic

Khalid said Islam promotes peace and amity among people and not violence or terrorism.

Islam subscribes to the principles of peace, non-violence, brotherhood and those people indulging in terrorism and violence in the name of religion were not abiding by the teachings of the holy book Koran, he said.

The ASMA also appealed to the ‘misguided’ people to shun the path of violence and terror and make the world a peaceful abode.
