
Film maker dead
MUMBAI: Veteran film maker Amarjeet died here on Saturday after a prolonged illness. He was 65. The end came at a private nursing home, family sources said. The renowned producer had suffered a paralytic stroke a couple of years ago and never recovered from it.
Staffer retires
P R Krishnamani, stenographer in the Circulation department of The Indian Express, retired on June 30, 1998 after serving for 36 years. The Circulation department staff gave him a warm send-off.
