Realising that cash worth Rs 2.5 lakh, gold ornaments and valuables worth Rs 16 lakh were missing, Shah immediately informed the L T Marg police station.

The police complaint states that the robbery must have taken place between Saturday night and Monday morning. Police suspect an insider could be involved in the robbery as the locks are not broken, nor does anything appear to have been tampered with. As the locks were opened with duplicate keys, police suspect an insider with access to the duplicate keys may be behind the robbery.
