Indian students for US engg fair
For the first time, students from India will be participating in an international science and engineering fair. The National Council of Science Museums is organising the fair across India, the winners of which will represent India in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair ISEF in USA in May this year. This contest is open to students throughout India between Std IX to XII. The first of the zonal fairs is being organised in Mumbai at Nehru Science Centre, Worli. It presents exhibits based on principles of computer science, physics, mathematics and engineering. ISEF, regarded as the world8217;s only international science fair representing all life sciences ranging from bio-chemistry to zoology, is organised and administered by Science Service, a non-profit organisation founded in Washington D C in 1921.
