Harbour line services to be suspended on Sunday
Central Railways will operate a Mega Block on Up Harbour line between Vadala Road and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai CSTM from 10 am to 4 pm on October 24 Sunday to carry out maintenance work on track, over head equipment, signal gear and other equipment.
All Up harbour line services will be suspended between CSTM and Bandra/Andheri/Kurla stations during the block period. Up Harbour line services between Belapur/Panvel and CSTM stations will run on main line between Kurla and CSTM during the block period.
Passengers travelling on Up harbour line between Kurla and CSTM will be able to travel via Dadar, CSTM and Sandhurst Road stations for connecting Dn harbour trains on their season/card tickets valid from 9 am to 5 pm on Oct 24 only.
Due to this block, certain services will remain cancelled but adequate services will be maintained for the benefit of the passengers. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for theinconvenience that is caused due to this block.
Crafts fair
A North East Crafts Fair 8217;99 will be held in the premises of Sachivalaya Gymkhana, 6, General Jaganatha Rao Bhosle Marg, Opp. Mantralaya, Mumbai-32 from Oct 25 to Nov 7. About 30 craftspersons will participate will also give demonstrate a few selected crafts. The event will be inaugurated by the Minister of State, Kripa Sankar Singh on October 25.
