Film journalist passes away

M S KRISHNA, film journalist, passed away on September 27 at 3.30 pm due to a cardiac arrest. Krishna enjoyed a long tenure as film editor of Blitz and wrote the highly popular Off-Camera8217; column. He was also a regular columnist for Ananda Bazar Patrika8217;s Anandalok for over two decades and of late had been contributing to Cine Advance, Women8217;s Era, Alive and The Sun. He was 73 years old and is survived by his wife and children.

Techfest at Watamull

A national level technical symposium 8211; Watts 99 8211; is being organised by the Watumull Institute of Technology. The symposium will be held from September 30 to October 1 at the institute8217;s campus at Worli and is open to degree and post-graduate students of computers, electronics and instrumentation technology.

Weekend wildlife camps
