MARGAO, OCT 29: Down by first-half goal, Calcutta fought back to down hosts Goa 3-1 and set up a semi-finals clash with Mumbai in the All-India Inter-Zonal Football tournament at Nehru Stadium, Fatorda, here today.

In the earlier match, Mumbai scored a 6-1 winover LN Mittila to finish their league engagement with all three wins to top the pool B with nine points.In pool A Calcutta, who finished their league engagement, topped the table with six points. Goa, who needed a draw from this match to qualify, are out of the race as they finished with four points behind Calcutta.

Mumbai playing an attacking game and went into the lead in the 14th minute through Hekmat Singh. Agenllo scored the second midway into first half to have Mumbai leading 2-0 at half-time.

After change of ends, Agnelo struck again in the 54th minute. Mumbai who held superiority in the midfield found plenty of space into the rival defence to score three more goals throgh Srikanth Nayak, Abhishek Yadav and substitute Madhavan to completethe rout.

Mittila reduced the margin with two minutes left for the final whistle through a consolation goal by SN Kishu.
