CR services delayed
Services on the Central Railway were delayed by almost an hour this morning due to voltage fluctuations between Kurla and Dombivli stations.
CR authorities said that irregular power supply by MSEB on the railway lines between Kurla and Dombivli resulted in trains running late by 40 to 60 minutes between the two stations. The delay took place between 8.40 am to 10 am on the slow track and 8.40 am to 12 pm on the fast track.
Services on the Central line had been delayed by nearly an hour yesterday evening due to the same reason. However, an MSEB spokesman clarified the problem had nothing to do with the Board8217;s power supply. 8220;The fault must have been with the railway8217;s internal system,8221; he said.
