Argentine fans reacted with mixed emotions to the 13-37 loss to South Africa on Sunday, being glad their Pumas made their first Rugby World Cup semi-final while bitter over losing. Federico Paleo, 20, watching the game with his family over pizza in a Buenos Aires sports bar, was consoled that the team made the last four. “We are very excited just to have arrived to the semi-finals because it’s our first time. For us it’s very important to be at this level in the tournament,” he said. At the same sports bar, Mziwanele Donald Langa, first secretary of the South African Embassy, applauded the Argentines for their performance even though his team won.
