NEW DELHI, May 13: The body of a nine-year-old boy, who had been missing since last night, was found in Najafgarh this morning. He had been strangled and stabbed. The boy, Rakesh Kumar, a resident was the son of Azad Singh of Paprawat village, a DVB employee. The police were informed and a search organised.

At around 11 a.m. today, the boy8217;s uncle, Randhir Singh, found his body in a wooded area near the village. The boy had wounds on the head, which seem to have been made by a sharp instrument. His mouth had been stuffed with mud. An old enmity could have been the cause of the crime.
